Gualterus Burlaeus, also known as Walter of Burley (or Burleigh) was an English scholar and philosopher. He studied at Oxford under Duns Scotus, taught at Paris, and was envoy to the Vatican. He wrote on the lives of the early philosophers, including Aristotle, with whom he occasionally disagreed. At least fifty works are attributed to him.
